Wanbo projectors are built to last long, however while using our products users should pay attention to the following simple usage points to ensure longevity of the product.
- Operating Temperature – Wanbo projectors are meant to be used indoor in cool places where the temperature does not exceed 40 degrees. In case the room temperature is high, ensure that there is enough ventilation for the projector fans to be operate effectively. In such scenarios, its recommended to give a gap of 5 to 10 mins after every hour of usage.
- Operating Hours – Wanbo Projectors like other LCD projectors should be used for 3 to 4 hours at continuous stretch only and thereafter should be given a pause of 5 to 10 minutes. The projector should be turned off after 3 to 4 hours of continuous usage. This prevents any LCD burn out issues due to over heating.
- Dusty Conditions – Few of the models of Wanbo projectors have optically closed system and hence are 100% dust proof, however care should be taken not to operate the projector is a dust conditions. Too much dust leads to clogging of the exhaust vents which leads to heating issues. For models where dust filters are provided and which as semi enclosed, care should be taken to clean the dust filters on regular basis to avoid filter blockage.
- Surge Protection – Wanbo projectors are built to withstand ± 10% voltage fluctuation. In certain areas where the power outage is more, it is recommended to use a surge protection. Warranty does not cover any damage to the powerboard or adaptor due to power surge.
Kind Note: Wanbo offers 1 year carry in service warranty on it’s projectors. Customer is requested to visit WANBO service center with defective product or courier the same. Wanbo will not bear courier charges paid by the customer. On request, we can provide assistance in arranging reverse pick up of the defective item from customer’s address and/or delivery of the repaired item upon repair. In both cases the shipping cost is customers responsibility.
